MC-070-16HE - The intake of the std airbox is on the right side and the snorkel what is attached to the airbox has his opening above the rearwheel , so lots of dirt comes inside the airbox . The filter is overloaded on the right side and closing very fast.Our advise is to choose for the HE filter.Due to the plate the air/dirt will be spread over the complete airfilter so the filter will not be overloaded so fast. You can clean & pre-oil the filter at least 25 times.New bolds and spacers are included for a perfect fitment.
MC-070-16R - The Full Race airfilter , developed on the track , NOT on a dyno but in real life , bikes with Dataloggers for the ultimate performance due to new materials and design , protection is on the same level as the filters above , only for a shorter time . Unlike any other sportsfilter all inlets will get with this Full Race airfilter the same quantity of air , regardless the speed of the motorcycle , wind directions or the turbulence of the fairing . No different fuel-mappings between internal & external or front & rear cilinders are needed , this will be achieved by tuning each cylinder separate . It makes the bike stronger but smoother , therefore it saves tires and fuel . Caution : The Full Race airfilterprotects for 100% but for a short period of time , check after each race weekend your filter , use only MWR filteroil & cleaner . Make sure you start each raceweekend with a well oiled filter . This airfilter is not developed to reduce the inletnoise . Remapping the ECU or the Fuel Control Module is highly recommended.

MC-070-16/WSBK - With the corporation of KHI , BMW , MV Agusta and MotoGP teams we developed a new style , very exclusive customized airfilter what increases the filtersurface enormously . The shape of the filter is "adapted" to the airbox to make it as big as possible , one of the reasons why we can't make the WSBK filter for every bike . We are able to increase the filtersurface from 50 - 100% , depending on the type of bike. More & bigger surface means less restriction , a better protection and the performance increase is in this case enormously.
All WSBK filters are handcut handcut and handglewed.
These new style WSBK filters are build with two different kind of foam materials . One part is foam material used for our roadbikes , the rest is the foam material for the full racefilters . The roadmaterial is placed on a conscious place to create the same effect as the splitterplate on our “HE” & “R” filters.
Remapping the ECU or installation of a fuel module is necessary
For the fueling you need to approach the same way as with our "HE" & "R" filters . This means tune each cylinder seperate and secondairy injectors seperate from the main injectors.
The set is co-developed by KRT & KHI , they tested four different configurations and the best option conserning both road & race use is become the current set MWR-VS-400 , looking at the best performance , most midrange power / torque and smoothness of the curve
The tests were done on the bikes from KRT (WSBK) and Team Green ( Superbike Factory Team Japanese Championship) , the power was only 0.7% less as their costum made factory build velocity stacks (not OEM).
Caution: clean and re-oil at least once a year with MWR airfilteroil & cleaner .
