RCB s2 master cylinder

Worth buying, rcb didn't let me down. Amazing performance! Noticeable difference in punch & bite. 3+ years yet works like new. Rather than doing useless mods, go for brake upgrades, you won't regret.

Be a demon on the brakes.

Purchased the S2 brakes for my rc390. And Boy do they work like a charm! Combined with vesrah ceramic pads (unable to get my hands on ebc double H for now) , it is one finger stoppie city. Installation was a pain though, because of the complex design of the rc390. The fly-by-wire throttle housing and rhe fairing had to be filed down a bit (jhampa66 has a YT video on it). Took over 2 hours. Amd then problems were caused by liquimoly dot 5.1 brake fluid (i have been given lots of trouble by liquimoly products in general). Switched to standard Castrol dot 4 fluid and it worked like a charm. Make sure to bleed all the ports including the one on the brake lever and reservoir assembly. It would have been a 20 min job by a good mechanic on the adjacent ninja 300 standing in his shop.
But once it is done, you will be in one finger stoppie city. Intentional unintentional enders will be common place. Highly recommended (I assume the S1 17mm will give even more feedback but i was worried the significantly higher force and feedback might overwhelm the sensitive ABS on KTMs).

Good performance but better with EBC brake pads

Writing this review after 2 months of usage. Two main things I want to highlight:
1. Works best at maximum distance. May be this is due to my fingers being longer. If I reduce the distance the braking performance is reduced a bit and I end up revving the engine.
2. Works best with EBC brake pads. So while buying this Radial Brake lever buy Vesrah or EBC (Better option) Brake pads for sure. The performance is on a different level with these brake pads.

Main advantage of the brake lever is that it gives a good progressive feel (Expected since its a radial setup). But with stock brake pads you will still end up grabbing the lever as the stock brake pad performance is not that good. And since you need to grab the lever you will need to put the lever at maximum possible distance so that it works effectively. When I bought the lever I didn't had the EBC brake pads available and didn't like the braking performance that much over stock setup other than the progressive feel. But recently after changing the brake pads to EBC ones (Ordered from Ridersjunction as still its not available here) I see a drastic improvement in braking performance. Now I can reduce the distance of lever a bit to be more comfortable during rides. Still will go with max setting when riding enthusiastically.
