MWR Performance Filter for Ducati Multistrada 1200 2015-2019

MC-020-15 - The filter of the 2015 Multistrada is placed horizontal on top of the airbox , the most scary part is that the air comes in also from above ...... so all the dirt & water too

Because the filter is way too small and is placed lower as the top of the airbox all the dirt & water what comes in contact with the filter stays there

With a horizontal filter placement with the air comes from below ( like 95 % of all bikes) due to the vibrations of the engine the biggest peaces of dirt fall out of the filter , this happens also to vertical placed filters.

The airbox opening is also pointed to the front and the filter is not “protected” by the toplid of the airbox completely.

So .... the filter will “close” rapidly and the big high powered engine will stay breathing this means that in a short notice it will pull the dirt / water through the filter. Also I have doubts about the sealing of the filter but that will come out sooner or later aswell.

MWR made a filter with the priority for the protection , a filter with two layers of foam to increase durability. Sure that there will be a power increase but I guess we will have not the highest power increase with this filter but for sure the most safest filter.

Caution: clean and re-oil at least once a year with MWR airfilteroil & cleaner .
